Would be nice if they were easier to find , No street signs that I’ve seen . Over by an apartment complex. Difficult places to park in the area. Food is good and reasonable. Just wish they had a better location.
-
Our party of 5 from Missouri arrived rather late, parked in the apartment parking lot and had a couple libations. Service was friendly, multiple tv's offered a variety of distraction, a nice situation right next to the peaceful dock area for smaller boats. It was a shirt pace to a decent restroom. A good stop for a toddy or brew.
-
The place was amazing and well hidden. I totally recommend the tuna ahi appetizer, was a perfect lunch meal for one. I had some kind of a rum drink in a bucket that was also delicious. I will be back!
-
Jill is the best and her teammates are excellent as well. Perfect atmosphere in a nearly secret location with an epic world-class view. Service is good, fast, friendly with a wide selection of yummy drinks and food. You’re likely to see dolphins, pelicans, and more!
-
Food was less than desirable. The drinks were definitely cold. Fries were soggy and burger was overcooked. Fish tacos over cooked and onion straws inedible. Gave 1 ??
*** Update
Went back to give them another try. Had the grouper tacos with side of beans and rice. This needs to be suggested when everyone comes through their doors. This is amazing.
-
It really wasn’t that hard to find- just look at Google maps people. The atmosphere was nice. It was very busy when we went which became a bit of a problem with the kitchen. They were very backed up and we waited for our food for an hour. Otherwise, the food was very good. We got the mahi mahi tacos and grouper basket. The server was also very sweet and attentive. Probably would be best to come either before or after the main dinner crowd if you want your food faster.
-
We loved it! Chill vibe, the bartender Jackie was cool and attentive but not annoying. The drinks were strong and the the food was good. The fried grouper was great!
Definitely a win!
-
Great place and great atmosphere. Food was great and drinks were strong. I love the police patches on the bar posts! Any place that supports police gets my business
-
The food is excellent. Appetizer so so good. Love steak bites . Must go to eat and enjoy the view. Its worth the trip
-
We had the blackened grouper tacos they are delicious. The fried grouper fingers were tasty as well. I liked that you are not pressured to wear a mask. So if you are scared of being close to another human being stay home! My 1st trip to Marco Island definitely will be coming back soon to the Dolphin Tiki bar!
-
Food and experience is phenomenal. Not fancy. Great chill vibe with good service and excellent food and drinks. The price is much better than the snook inn.
-
This place probably had the best water I have ever tasted, I don't know if I was really thirsty but I chugged those things down. The view from the bar was terrific, (even though it was really dark). I ventured off and got the chicken tenders, which were 10/10. Also, we were able to walk out on the dock and see the ocean water so for that 5 stars.
-
This is not 5 star dining... it’s a tiki hut on the water in a condo complex. That said, if that is what you’re looking for, it’s terrific! The Conch fritters are spectacular! The orange marmalade dipping sauce with the coconut shrimp is amazing. Drinks are good. Service is fabulous. Awesome spot.
-
Fun place! Great food, drinks and service. Finding it the first time was an adventure. I’m so glad we didn’t give up.
-
It's what you come to a Florida island for. Outside seating in a tiki bar overlooking a marina with the breeze blowing across you. And frankly; the food is just incredible here. Typically, the closer to water you get the loser the food becomes. This places, works their food like they have no view and nothing to rest their laurels on. It was just an excellent experience.
-
Great staff here. An island favorite for sure. Some unique dishes and laid back atmosphere at this dockside hideaway. The fried grouper sandwich with bacon may be perfection.
-
Secluded tiki bar style on the intracoastal. Fish tacos were very good. Shrimp BLT wrap was just as you expect. Saw boaters pulling up their boats to dine. Not much seating but seemed like a local spot so we didn’t have a problem getting seated right away.
-
Great blackened grouper sandwich! Fun Tiki vibe with views of the boats at the dock.
-
Highly recommend this water front tiki bar! We were down on vacation and stopped in here for lunch. Got the scallop taco special and it was delicious! Drinks were amazing and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. We will be back and will recommend to all of our friends!
-
Hidden gem! Great view, food, and atmosphere. Right on Dock
-
Wonderful mussels in decadent tomato sauce. Key lime pie very good. Service great.
-
Delicious food and wonderful staff. The grouper was amazing!
-
OMG! Service incredible, food is off the chain, the view delightful but difficult to find. Call for directions first.
-
The mahi mahi tacos and the blakened scallops!!
-
We went for happy hour and the drinks did not disappoint. Mango fusion is delicious. We had wings and some sushi, both were pretty good. The view is pretty spectacular as well.
-
A nice laid back tiki hut on Marco Island. Great drinks, delicious food, and exceptional service. Their conch fritters and grouper tacos are a must try. For drinks, try their rum runner or mai tai.
-
This was our 2nd visit and it was full of diners at 2pm. I ordered the blackened shrimp BLT in a wrap. I don't know where they get their shrimp but they are HUGE! The sause was spicy, and the portion did not leave me feeling overstuffed. A definite must. Although pricy, the food and service have been excellent both times. Sitting under the Tiki hut is an added bonus, with a recent thunderstorm just having passed.
-
Food was tasty and service efficient. Very little social distancing or mask wearing made us a little uncomfortable.
-
This place is tucked away, but glad we tried it. The food, service and atmosphere was great! All outdoor seating.
-
Food was amazing. Service was amazing. Spot was amazing. We had shrimp cocktails and a seafood broil and burgers everything was top-notch. We will be going a lot more. Don't second guess this place.
-
We have been going to here for years. It's a little place tucked away on the water. Super busy during season so get there early. Casual food with a casual atmosphere. At the bar there are several TV's to watch while you drink and/or eat. Friendly staff. Highly recommend during a stay in Marco.
-
We visit Naples 2x a year and Dolphin Tiki is a must for us everytime we visit for some shrimp tacos and a daiquiri. Hands down the best shrimp tacos I've ever had in my life. Whole family loved everything they ordered. Plus, it's so nice sitting there by the water on a beautiful day. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.
-
Twin Lobster Tails for $29, yes! Really a good deal and always good otherwise for dinner or lunch. Lobster night is worth the wait. We come here other nights as well for Grouper, Wings, etc. On the water and great service. Francesca and the other waitresses do a great job here.
-
Great atmosphere with a beautiful view. Staff is super friendly. Bobby the bartender is awesome! The food is also delicious especially the lobster tail taco's! And they have Angry orchard which is my favorite beer. I would definately recommend this place to family and friends.
-
The staff is great, and the food is good. Especially love their stacks with seafood, avocado, shrimp and crab. Well presented. Love sitting at the bar and looking out at the boats... Have never had a bad experience. Go early for lunch and you will always get a great view
-
What an awesome place to have drinks and dinner!! we loved it, super friendly staff, great food at a great price!! One of my favorite spots!! Get there early because there's at least a hour seating wait.
-
It was sooooo nice! The staff is very knowledgeable & welcoming with a "no rush" attitude. The menu is perfect; not overwhelming yet a great variety to choose from. The prices are perfect and the presentation is awesome ?
-
Awesome spot to relax on the water and nearby docks with a full service bar and an excellent restaurant. From sushi rolls to burgers and everything in between this place we want to be around for a long time to come. The bar tenders are very attentive and very friendly. The variety on the menu allows you to go day after day and never have the same thing twice. Craft cocktails to great draft beers it's all over a very good place to relax casually and be close to your boats in the nearby marina.
-
We have been to several of the waterside tiki-style restaurant/bars and we love the Dolphin Tiki Bar the best. Their service is better, the view is comparable, but more importantly their food is much better than the other places. I had the grouper sandwich (I got it fried, but you can also get it pan seared or grilled) and it was absolutely delicious! And I have had grouper sandwiches all over Florida. This one was right up at the top! My painkiller drink was very good too. My wife had the South Florida salad with chicken. She said it was a great salad and the chicken was moist and had great flavor. The service was friendly and attentive. The menu is fairly large. We sat “outside” meaning not under the thatch roof where the bar is as well as some tables. We highly recommend the Dolphin Tiki Bar!
-
Where to begin....we had a wonderful experience. The wait staff was very attentive, the "tropical" drinks were great (between me and my husband) we had each one of the five offered. I ordered the special of Lobster tacos which were amazing, my husband ordered the grouper basket and ate all of it, despite being full! We also had conch fritters as an appetizer which were some of the best on the island. Despite the difficulty in finding the the restaurant it is well worth the "search" - find it you will not be disappointed!
-
Small tiki hut restaurant in the back of condos on the water. Drinks are strong and tasty! Conch Fritters were the best and the tuna tower was to die for!! Grouper basket and broiled seafood was very good. Very casual, laid back ambience, great service! Highly recommend!
-
Great boom boom shrimp tacos, Cole slaw was a little mediocre. Also the ice machine broke so no frozen drinks which was one of the main reasons we went. Mahi mahi tacos were also delicious!
-
Wow!! We were looking for good food, on the water, fun atmosphere ... and we found it!!! What a great place! There were 10 of us in our party, so we figured our food would take a while to come out, nope!!! Came out in normal time, and Not one complaint! We will definitely be back!!
-
Hard to find but once you do you will be glad you came. Grouper sandwich is as good as the reputation it carries, big piece of fish blackened perfectly and tartar sauce was just right. The gulf shrimp on the tacos were big and juicy and seasoned very well. Would definitely return!
-
Great relaxing environment, kid friendly, great service & tasty food. We had the tuna sushi roll and grouper sandwich. Both delish.
-
My friends and I came here our first night in Marco because they had a Wednesday special on lobster tail, only like 25$ or something for 2!
It is a small little legit tiki hut right in the Marina- we were able to get a table and it was perfect!
The lobster here was better than the 50$ one I got at a fish house a few nights later!
-
Food was pretty good! Fish tacos were tasty. The squash side was drenched in butter and oil, I didn't like that. The staff was super friendly. It's a decent view of the water but not the sunset. The mudslide drink was YUM! It's kind of hard to find this place if you don't live in the condos.
-
I've loved the Dolphin Tiki for years, but last year and this year my friends and I from Ohio were in Marco for our yearly girls' trip and we had to make sure we hit up Dolphin Tiki. It did not disappoint. We all ordered seafood. I ordered the grouper basket and it was breaded perfectly and cooked to perfection. My friend, on the advice of our wonderful server, ordered the boom boom shrimp tacos with the spicy slaw. She raved about it. My other friends got the shrimp tacos and they were also perfect. Their fries are delicious too, by the way.
We also came on Lobster Thursday where my friends all got lobster tacos. They were very pleased, but my friend wished she'd gotten her boom boom tacos again. I, again, got my grouper- why mess with a good thing??
Anyway, great out of the way location in a marina where the view is lovely. Great cocktails and free beer Koozies!! Try it! You'll be glad you did. Possibly best meal on Marco. -
After you find the Place... it's worth it. Went here for lunch with the family and we ordered some of the tacos and sushi which were all tasty and actually very filling. Ordered the tuna tower for an app and it was also very good and unique. Recommend to all for change of pace in Marco.
-
So glad we didn't drive on when we had a bit of trouble locating this hidden gem! (Located along walk path behind the condos between the bay & the tennis courts). Had the crab cakes to start, & they were two big, filling cakes full of flavor. Also enjoyed the grouper tacos & grouper sandwich. Both dishes were big enough to share, especially after the appetizer. The tacos had a fresh flavor w/ a mouth watering cilantro aioli. And the sandwich also had a very fresh flavor w/ a perfectly cooked big piece of grouper on it. Will definitely put on the list to visit again.
-
Great food, cute location, service a bit slow, but it was really a pleasant experience. It's a bit hard to find, and I can't even explain where it is. But we enjoyed it.
-
Great drinks! The Mahi tacos were fabulous! It's a great outdoor tiki on the bay! It was comfortable outside even in July.
-
Wonderful environment. Hidden, you have to go under the condos and back by the tennis courts. Open to the public and so worth it. Wonderful food and delicious drinks. We ordered pina coladas, the dolphin rum runner and a watermelon smoothie. We also ordered two sides of French fries and the conch fritters. This place is not listed in the Marco Review app so it is quieter. We went about 4pm which was 30% drinks for happy hour 4-6pm. Would definitely go back. The staff is also extremely friendly.
UPDATE: We went back again and ordered coconut shrimp which were absolutely delicious and fried brie which was wonderful as well. I also ordered a vodka cherry lemonade which was refreshing and so were the mudslides. They made a non-alcoholic version as well which I enjoyed even more. We will mostly likely be back for a third time before leaving the island!
-
Hard to find and looks like a hole in the wall and it is a hidden gem! Conch fritters and coconut shrimp are outstanding. Staff is super friendly. Definitely a great dive!
-
Delicious fried grouper sandwich!! Fries were perfect as well. We ran in on a rainy afternoon and they brought us towels to dry off. We loved it there, food was great.

Great little place dockside. The food was excellent. We had steak tacos, blackened shrimp tacos, lobster tacos and chicken quesadillas. They were all very tasty.
-
This tiki bar offers a great view and service. It is a bit difficult to find within the development but just follow the water. Highly recommend!
-
We are still sitting here! Enjoyed great boom boom shrimp and (extra crispy) wings in a medium buffalo sauce. My dirty banana drink is tasty, not too sweet, and STRONG. Our waitress, Francisca, is lovely and helpful. The hostess, Mary, is a delight and full of cheer. Please come here for the views, food, drinks, and staff. Cheers!
-
We REALLY enjoyed dinner! It was a little challenging to find, but I think that's the point! It is a small place set on a marina and the building is open (covered overhead but no windows, it's open to the beautiful views & welcoming winds off the waters) indoor/outdoor seating is available. Nice big bar & loads of TVs to catch your favorite sporting event. I was very Interested in trying this place, I'm a huge fan of locals spots!! I expected it to be good "bar-food" with a nice view, but it was SO MUCH MORE! The food was amazing & everything from the bar food-to-the sushi-to boiling seafood bowls, fish tacos, and so many other fantastic choices! There is clearly a plan to the menu & a team who cares about the taste of their food. This place is anything but traditional and bland! We had a lovely waitress who was extremely attentive (thank you Francisca!) & helped us navigate our food choices! We started with the ultimate sushi roll & it was delish! (I forgot to take a pic). The fish was fresh, cold, & firm (which are all of my fav things in sushi!), I chose the mahi-mahi tacos for my meal (pictured) and the fish was definitely fresh! The sauce was very flavorful & yummy! Will definitely be back, this is my new favorite hang out on Marco Island!!!!!
-
This is the kind of place your friend tells you about because there is no way you are seeing this driving down the street! Hard to find, tucked away behind a condo complex that surrounds it- but not impossible.
This small tiki bar and grill is right on the water, with a beautiful view. Casual place to grab a drink after work if you work on the island. Very good prices and a great vibe.
-
If you feel like your in am apartment parking lot, you're in the right place! Park and walk all the way to the water and you'll see it on your right.
We brought three adults and four kids under six and the service was the best we've had in ages! My husband trapped the ketchup on the table once and our waitress was right there with a full bottle. The whole staff was amazing!
We had fun drinks, grilled cheeses, a hamburger, the fried grouper, and the grouper tacos. The fried grouper was the winner, hands down, although the other items were good as well. And I strongly recommend their Pain Killer ?.
Overall, a nice atmosphere, beautiful water view, good drinks and food, and awesome service! We couldn't be happier with our find!
-
Perfect Tiki experience. Fresh and Tasty food, drinks and happy hour daily. The bar cannot be seen from the parking lot. Friendly and efficient service.
-
Great food, great people and great location. We had a delicious Easter lunch at the Dolphin Tiki Bar and Grill. One of our favorite spots on Marco Island.
-
Great heavy pour on the wine, great service, lobster taco specials were great, love the boom boom shrimp, love the coconut shrimp (just make sure they give you the marmalade)
-
Amazing atmosphere and food! We had a blast here and loved sitting on the water. The service was great and the drinks were too. Absolutely recommend!
-
Had the shrimp cocktail, conch fritters, and grouper topped florida salad. Conch fritters weren't the best, salad was pretty good, shrimp cocktail was great. Mixed drinks were good. Location was cool but a little hot sitting outside.
-
Dined at the outdoor tiki bar overlooking the Marco River. Wednesday night special was twin Maine Lobster tails for 27.00. Tails were 7oz ea. Served with roasted red potatoes and corn. Though you could have Cole slaw instead. Delicious frozen cocktails as well.
-
Beautiful view a lot of boats parking . Staff very friendly and professional . Coconut shrimp delicious, steak wraps yummy , hamburguesas ,wings . Watermelon daiquiris was A-plus.
-
It is worth the effort it takes to find it. You won't be disappointed. I had Philly Steak and my wife had a burger. My wife loved her burger until she tried my meal. I can only imagine what the seafood tasted like. Too bad it was our last night or we would come back for a second time!
-
Absolutely wonderful restaurant. Atmosphere, service, and food was amazing. Crab cakes lobster tacos and conk fritters were great.
-
Dolphin Tiki is great. It is truly a tiki on the dock - in the back of a condo complex originally built as a hotel - therefore the professional kitchen about 20 yards from the tiki. They use it well . Grouper sandwich the best. Fresh fish tacos - grouper and Mahi , blackened , grilled , fried all top notch. Full dinner entrees also exceptional - great food and fun Atmosphere ( there were dolphins cruising off the docks last night)
-
The Wednesday night lobster tails were really good, we also had the patty melt and it was good. Would definitely go back to this place. Only problem we had was actually finding it.
-
Absolutely amazing place to eat!! They have so many options for all people and great Service!!!
-
Food is excellent, although the seating is tight. Still some of the best food in town. Would recommend.
-
Dinner was delicious. Both my boyfriend and I loved our dinner and highly recommend this place. Beware that you have to go looking for it; the restaurant is outdoors tucked behind several condos on the dock. We were told this place is more of a local hangout, and it's worth going searching for it.
For dinner, we had the fried Brie with raspberry sauce. The Brie melts in your mouth as you eat. It was so good we almost ordered a second portion. Our main dishes, boom boom shrimp and fried grouper baskets, were seriously delicious. I repeat: We both definitely recommend the boom boom shrimp. Also, the location is awesome.
-
Cool local stop...drinks and view above average. The food was good but nothing amazing. Would come back with friend for s fun nigh anytime.
-
Nice view of the water. Beautiful day with a nice breeze. We sat in the covered area. Build your own burger was great. MahI mahi soft tacos were delicious. Portions are quite large. We both had the tiki signature margarita- really good. Nice casual lunch place.
-
This was our favorite dinner on our trip to Marco Island. Our server ( I think his name was Ben) was wonderful, attentive, knowledgeable, and prompt. It is tricky to find as it it is on a marina in the midst of a condo complex, but look at the google map and you'll be able to get yourself there. We waited about 20 minutes (just enough time to sit an enjoy a drink). All of the seating is outside. Some of it is covered.
The food was fabulous! My husband got the special of the night -Grouper with a white wine sauce. It was to die for! I got the Grouper Dinner on the menu and loved it as well. The tropical drinks were yummy and strong. It's not super fancy, but a great tropical atmosphere in a beautiful setting. Must stop on your next trip to Marco Island! -
The grouper basket, and the Coconut shrimp basket were great! The conch fritters were well done, and in the past, good conch meat was hard to find, as it can easily come out with a gummy texture. This conch was just right and very flavorful! The steak tacos had awesome presentation, (and flavor!!) and the fries were to die for! Highly recommend this restaurant!
-
Great location. The food was very good. We came by boat and docking was very accommodating.
-
This place has a great atmosphere. Friendly staff and good food. The Fish tacos were awesome.
-
Great food on the water. The place is difficult to find, as it is tucked away in a condominium complex, but worth the sea view. We got some tiki drinks and enjoyed the buffalo shrimp to start. This was delicious and not too spicy. We also ordered the ceasar salad with lemon pepper shrimp, and that was tasty too.
I got the ahi tuna salad for my entree, and this was refreshing. All the food choices were great, and the service was quick and super nice as well. Great local spot for some sea food.
-
Nice little place. Good food for reasonable price. The happy hour gets 30% off all boose.
-
Wednesday is lobster special day. Cooked to perfection with two tails, drawn butter. Two corn on cob that sweet and crisp, the potatoes were crispy fried and delicious. Great wait staff, friendly people. Hard to find unless you ask others. Sits on a bay/ marina
Get there early for a waterside table with an umbrella. It is hot at 500 in late April. -
Absolutely delicious food! The drinks were saying and well made too. I had the carne asada tacos and boy were they filling. If you stumble upon this secret spot, you'll find that it's a hidden treasure.
-
Went here to try it for the first time and it was fabulous. Everyone I went with absolutely loved their meals and drinks. The atmosphere was fun and we loved the decor. Not to mention it was right on the water, a great place to watch the sunset. I also loved the fact that the entire establishment is outdoors allowing you to really enjoy the scenery and style of Marco Island. Great place, highly recommend
-
Dolphin Tiki Bar & Grill, is a hidden gem for casual dining with a lovely view. And I do mean hidden, it is ina condominium complex, and the signage directing you to it rather small. I had a grouper sandwich that came with French fries, and while it was good, it wasn't GREAT, my husband the fish tacos and he enjoyed them. But I would say that the real star of the show has to be the view.
-
Small tiki bar with lots of tv’s and not a bad view of the bay. The food is consistent for bar type food. Recently had the steak bites which were a bit salty but overall not bad, the mushrooms were good. Cocktails are a bit weak but no more than most places. I haven’t been for lobster night and would like to give it a try. If it weren’t on the water I’d probably give it three stars.
-
We travel 200+ miles to enjoy a lunch. We chose a place to stop from the Yelp locations. We had a hard time finding the place, like tourist. We finally had to call as it is around the back by the harbor. We are glad we did. The place is small but quaint. The look of the harbor was amazing. The waitress and servers were very attentive. We had lunch and dessert was the key lime pie. The food was delicious. It was a fabulous choice from Yelp. We will be back in the future.
-
Found this hidden gem on Yelp and so glad I did. Our new favorite place. We love off the beaten path places. I love to read reviews before we try new place. Don't know what Patty W from ON was whining about because this place is fun with a hard-working, friendly staff and awesome food. There was a very long line to check in for a table, a good sign to me when trying a new restaurant. But we got lucky and found seats at the bar. We all had different meals, grouper tacos which I had, with beans and rice on the size, AMAZING! and the beans were the best I have ever had, fried grouper sandwich, Mahi-mahi BLT wrap, and Boom boom shrimp. We left happy and full. Can't wait to go back!
-
A hidden gem with fantastic food!! It's located behind some condos and took a drive around to find it, but I'm glad we did. We arrived just after Noon and we were seated at a table within 30 minutes. The bartender mixed up some awesome Tiki signature margaritas. We sipped on drinks and ate boom boom shrimp. The shrimp appetizer is pricy at 14.95 and you only get 6 shrimp. Once at our table, we ordered our main meals. Our exchange student and I really enjoyed the mahi-mahi tacos. You get 3 tacos with a side dish. I had a side of black beans and rice. We both thought the entire meal was great! Our exchange student said she didn't like fish, but she decided to give the dish a try. It turns out she loved the tacos! My husband ordered the broiled seafood platter. He said it was excellent!! My daughter ordered the California burger and said it was wonderful. We will definitely come back to this restaurant!
-
Food was great along with service. Make a reservation! We didn't, but got their around 4 and only had to wait a little bit. By the time we left it was very crowded. My dad and I had grouper sandwich with chipotle mayo. Nice piece of blackened grouper with a tasty bun. My daughter has the steak taco which she inhaled! The meat in the tacos was tender and juicy. My husband had a burger which was huge and my son the philly. Nice place! Hostess is a hoot!
-
Hard to find, but worth the trip. Coconut shrimp and grouper sandwich both very good. Cozy place with a dock side view.
Grouper tacos were delicious! Happy hour was fun and you will love the feel of the place.
-
May not be the easiest place to find but well worth the hunt. I had the blackened grouper sandwich and it was wonderful. My daughter was jonesing for sushi and ordered the boom boom shrimp sushi. It was everything she hoped for. Most importantly, the staff, especially the bartender Jackie, made the experience phenomenal. She knew the menu inside and out and was able to point us in the right direction based on our personal taste. We'll definitely stop here the next time we're on Marco Island!
-
Fast, friendly service (even when it's busy)! Hubby says the food is awesome, too! Try the lobster tacos!
-
Great setting right on the marina. Open air when weather nice or enclosed when bad. Day service excellent. Lobster tail special is the bomb! Other food choices very good..
-
One of favorite places on Marco. It's hard to find but definitely worth it. Great food on the water.
-
Tasty food and lovely location. The broiled seafood platter is very good. The crab stack and steak bites are terrific!
-
Great atmosphere and the Grouper sandwich was delicious!!
-
I love this place. I'm spending my vacation on Marco Island. I've been to many of the restaurants. Not one compares to the Dolphin Tiki Bar and Grill. I've eaten there about 5 times. Every meal gets better. Service is great. Friendly, Fun and Great views. I would have given it 6 stars if I could.
-
Went here for a Sunday evening dinner and was told it would be an hour and a half wait, and we wanted to stick it out. Went over to the bar and got a drink while we waited and our table was ready within a half hour, that was amazing! Our waitress was super nice and I ended up getting the Mahi mahi tacos with fries. The portion size was perfect and I loved the sauce they had on the tacos! Fries were crispy and I couldn't even finish the third taco. Loved being able to eat outside and right by the water. This place is hidden and you will have to look for it if you aren't staying right there. I would return!
-
Good service. Nice atmosphere. Ordered an Ahi Tuna Salad with friend, and got just lettuce with fish on top.......did not look like a salad!
-
Love, love, loved my blackened grouper tacos. The pico and the aioli took them over-the-top delicious! Service was a little less than enthusiastic, but she was also very pregnant-so I tried to overlook that. We had been out at sea all day, and it felt good to be out of the sun. I'm not sure it would have been the same going there to find we are eating in the open air as hot as it has been this week had we not been sun beaten and wind whipped already.
-
Five stars for the water access dining! Good food, good drinks. I like how part of the bar extends basically over the docks and it feels like you really can just boat up for apps and bevs!
-
Outdoor eating so it's pleasantly quiet compared to a noisy restaurant. The food was very good as was the service. Nice view of the water and many luxury boats.
-
Food was good and lobster price good as it was on a Wednesday evening. Was busy so a short wait to be seated. Chilly evening and we were placed in a corner. Nobody eating outside as was cold, but the corner was too. Napkin sticking out of the holder was waving in the breeze. Food was good, as I say, but those seats should not be used on a cold evening when the wind is blowing.
-
Cept for rain, this spot would have been perfect. Cool venue overlooking a marina. Great bar food! Nice attentive staff
-
Good food local vibe. Located in a multi-family community. Stand alone, right on the water. Lucky we Ubered, not sure we would have found on our own. Grouper plate was good and well priced. The Maui tacos were good as well. Seafood not cooked to death which is always a sign of a good kitchen.
-
GrEaT place... we sat at the bar, Jill the bartender was very nice. We order the Blackened Scallops off the appetizer menu, very tasty and the 2 accompanying sauces were amazing, the seaweed salad that's included was also very good and fresh. My hubby and I each had our own order and it turned out to be plenty so it ended up being our dinner.
-
One of my favorite places to go for lunch on Marco Island. Its a little bit out of the way, and easy to forget, but it is well worth the trip. Prices are great, and the portions are large. I can not recommend this restaurant highly enough.
-
Loved the coconut shrimps and steak tacos!! The service was quick, the view was amazing and the food was amazing! I would come back ??
-
Solid food. Nothing fancy or creative, but good seafood and enjoyable. The mahi tacos are well done and the grouper strips perfectly cooked. Tempura shrimp also good though the grouper is better.

Great place to take your catch. Have it prepared 4 ways (see attached). Locsted on the water. It is a little difficult to find as you have to park in condo parking lot and walk to the water. You cannot see the restaurant until you get out of your car and on foot. There is signage from the road however. Great atmosphere.
-
Quickly becoming one of our favorite Marco Island spots; the lobster tacos are amazing and anything with the name "boom" in it is awesome. Also, the drink pours are legit and top it off with a cool water view and it's a great day
-
Best little Tiki Bar in Paradise! Super friendly staff excellent menu fantastic food perfect location and ambience.
-
One of our favorite places to visit while on the island. As always excellent food, great service and a beautiful view. Thank you Brandon for the wonderful service and the best "Margaritas" on the island.
-
Fantastic experience. The hour plus wait was well worth it for fresh food and great ambiance. We had the Wednesday fresh lobster meal, fish tacos and sushi. Kids had a Philly cheese steak and steak tacos. Everyone was satisfied.
-
Excellent local spot right on the water with reasonably priced food and drinks that are also delicious! We were seated right away and the food came super quick! Will definitely return if we decide to vacation in Marco again, which is definitely looking promising!
-
Lobster night is the best night!!!! Love this place! Atmosphere and service are both top notch!
-
The food was really good! Boom boom shrimp, sushi, fritters, and fried shrimp. All of it was great. Weird location but food was worth it.
-
Really unique off-the-beaten path hole in the wall. It's by the marina and we went on a Wed night when it was the Lobster special for $25. They fly the Lobster in from Maine that day. My father in law got the Lobster special, I got a couple of sushi rolls, my daughter got the grilled cheese and a couple people for salads.
We got a couple of appetizer and they were delicious! I think the dinner and app portions are probably on the smaller side compared to most places. I got a couple of sushi rolls and they were ok....I probably wouldn't get them again.
The service was great and we were able to be seated seated. They keep the staff pretty busy with every table be seated right away.
We took and Uber here and they both were slightly confused on the drop off or pick up. Go in by the Rose Marina and go back to the water. You walk down the dog and there is the Tiki Hut. The restaurant is on the water behind the condo complex.
-
Diamond in the rough this place is. Food is amazing, service is fantastic and this place is a cant miss when in Marco island. Suggest the rib eye quesadillas and they are a meal. You will not be disappointed.
-
One of our favorite places to visit while on the island. As always excellent food, great service and a beautiful view. Thank you Brandon for he wonderful service and the best "Margaritas" on the island.
-
We ordered grouper fingers with fried onion rings, steamed cauliflower and broccoli. The grouper was fresh and coated in beer batter before frying. Onion rings and steamed vegetables were done perfectly too. Cute little place, tucked away behind condos next to the marina. Friendly, attentive staff.
-
Beautiful view of boats and sailboats from our table! Our server was very nice and friendly. I got fish tacos and they were great. The aioli on top was fantastic. My husband's grouper sandwich was good too. I could have done without the Fox News (please turn to something less atrocious!) showing on the tv. We will be back.
-
We made a reservation for 19 people for the day before Thanksgiving on Lobster night and everything could not have been better! Very prompt service (I wish I could remember our waitress’s name!) and excellent lobster! Not easy to deal with such a large table but it could not have been better!!
-
This bar is great! As a group, we had several things on the menu, and none of it disappointed! Fish tacos, chicken fingers, grouper, fries and onion rings were all great!
-
Fabulous tiki bar/restaurant set on the dock in north Marco. Great food and friendly service. Had a super evening!! Try the bang bang shrimp they are delicious. Reasonably priced too. Recommended. Going back Friday night.
-
Excellent!!! The happy hour is 30% off all liquor drinks between four and six p.m. Monday through Friday. The staff is friendly and attentive and we never had to wait to be served. The food is delicious and the special Wednesday lobster cannot be beat!! Delicious! ????? The breeze and view is an added bonus!
-
I was so into being on the 'Island ' and at this bar that a friend recommended to me that I totally forgot to take pictures of our appetizers!
We shared the Boom Boom shrimp which has the most amazing sauce, just a bit of spice to make it tantalizing. Our second appetizer was the crab cakes. Two huge cakes with bits of mango on top and a mild sauce that complimented so well. Not your run of the mill appetizers! Wait staff very friendly and just enough attention to make sure everything is ok -
Decided to try this place out after seeing some reviews. It's a little hard to find as it looks like you are pulling into a condo complex, but at the back of the complex there is a small marina and tucked into the marina is this little gem. It is just a small tiki bar with a covered bar area and some outdoor seating around it. Our family of 4 had a really good meal! I got the shrimp tacos and they were delicious. It was the best casual restaurant experience we had during our time in Marco Island! Loved IT!
-
Fun place to sit and relax on a bay.
Food was good.
Nice casual restaurant.
Kind of stashed away, but a nice find -
Good food great beer nice atmosphere, but hard to find. Quiet place and wish they had longer hours
-
Small little place next to the marinas. Great food and service. Fast and friendly!
-
Location was great! Bartender was excellent and food drinks and prices were very reasonable.
-
One of our favorite spots in marco! The atmosphere is so fun, a little tiki bar on the bay! Views of boats is so fun to watch! The drinks were awesome, food was good. Looking for a place for a drink this is perfect!
-
My favorite restaurant on Marco! The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The drinks are good and you can get a"real" glass of wine! Jill, one of the waitresses is FANTASTIC and her friendly and bubbly personality is part of why we keep coming back!
-
Dolphin Tiki Bar & Grill is a hidden jewel in Marco Island. Our Car club traveled from Miami for lunch, the service was outstanding, the food was really good. Every member in our group had to rave about the food, from the Grouper Basket to the Fish Tacos and the cold beers. Everything was freshly made and delicious. The views while you dine are also really nice and relaxing. Our Club is looking to go back very soon. I highly recommend dining at the Dolphin Tiki Bar & Grill. Thanks for a great afternoon!!!!
-
Good food, service. Very hard to find though, even with Google maps! It's behind some kind of apartment complex. Not a good option for differently abled people.
-
Great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff with delicious pub style apps and plates! With a view of the water from every seat and multiple flat screens there isn't a bad seat in the house! Highly recommend!
-
This was a gem that I found on Yelp. It was exactly what the reviews all said. Quaint tiki bar with a local flair.
We brought our two young children (3 and 4) with us for dinner. The wait staff seated us in a great corner with a view for us and tv for them.
We ordered two cherry lemonades for us and two chocolate milks for the kids. The cherry lemonades we're very tasty with just the right amount of liquor to taste, but not over power the drinks. Just a note, that the kids' beverages did not have lids or straws. I'm not sure if this was just because they were out of them or because of how proactive most local establishments are about the environment. Not really a big deal, but one of mine could have used a sippy cup.
Our server, Jill, was fantastic. She placed our appetizer and kids' meals together and they came out on a reasonable amount of time. The appetizer sizes were reasonable to generous in portion sizes. I had the spicy tuna and my husband had a Caesar salad. Both items were flavorful and nicely presented. The kids both had the grilled cheese and french fries. These were very well done and again, nicely presented. Not complaints from either of them.
The wait staff continued to clear and maintain our table, which is something that occasionally gets over looked but not here. They were very attentive.
We order a second round of drinks and with perfect timing our dinners appeared. I ordered the scallops appetizer and my husband the crab cake sandwich. The scallops were perfectly seasoned and had two dipping sauces to pair with them. The crab cake sandwich was generous in size and again well prepared. I will say that my husband add some of the wasabi sauce from my scallops to it for added flavor and it just gave it a nice kick.
Our bill came to approximately $100 for a party of 2 adults and 2 children.
This is some place we would absolutely recommend and will enjoy coming to again.
-
Place was difficult to find but it was worth driving around in circles. We sat outside and the view was beautiful. We had the twin lobster tail special (wednesdays only) and it was fresh and delicious for $25. Server was very friendly as well.
-
The food was delicious, the service very attentive and the view from the outside seating was beautiful. We will be back!
-
This was an unexpected surprise and the reason why you should never judge a book by its cover! This assuming restaurant was completely off the beaten path, but the food and service made it worth the trip. We had Coconut Shrimp for an appetizer and they were fresh and tasty. My husband had a burger and I had fish tacos. We both enjoyed our meals. Since we're were driving around that day, we didn't drink, but their cocktails looked great! Outdoor Tiki bar setting with lovely views. We would definitely go back!
-
Probably our favorite restaurant on the island! This little gem has a variety of meal options that aren't too expensive, considering the cost of most restaurants on the island. No matter what you get, you'll be pleased. I love to put their boom boom sauce on EVERYTHING! The environment is great, a little tiki bar on the docks so you can enjoy the view from wherever you're seated and the staff is awesome! :-)
-
My favorite !!! Family and friends love it when they come down . Great food, service and atmosphere...
-
Love this place. It's a relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is good and great cocktails. We visited 3 times during our holiday and had tempura shrimp, lobster tacos, burgers, chicken fingers, boom boom shrimp and all were equally good.
-
Been going to this place regularly for 2 years and they have consistently provided excellent service and great food (even during season). Their grouper sandwich is excellent and you get a good portion for your money. Wednesday nigh' lobster special is one of our favorites. Jill is one of our favorite waitresses and knows how to service a large group so we can enjoy the company of our friends without any hassles. We love the place!
-
I had an amazing time dining at this bar! I went with my grandparents and they try and go a lot to get the lobster so we go to a lot of good restaurants on he island and this one was one for next year :)
-
Best little kept secret hidden away! Glad we found it! Amazing food and great beach vibe!
-
Good food and a great atmosphere!
-
Waterfront dining with excellent cocktails fantastic appetizers in great lobster tail specials on Wednesday nights. A nice breeze through the cabana what’s not to like?
-
Great place! Will definitely be back!
-
Great place with an awesome view ?
-
Visited summer 2018 with my husband and 2 little boys. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We were impressed with how much the servers have to walk to bring out and serve the food. The Tiki is outside by the water in the middle of a condo complex. The kitchen is inside the condo and the food is walked out. Super fresh and service with a smile despite the crazy heat. I had the Monterey chicken sandwich and my husband had the fish tacos. Both dishes were amazing! The server was great too. He was very on top of ensuring we had our drinks refilled when needed. Advice- wear shorts. Lol. It's hot and humid! Lol.
-
Amazing experience here. Great food. Decent price. I have gone to many places with ridiculous prices and the food was not half as good as dolphin tiki bar. They didn't charge me for my delicious Pina Collada because our appetizer came out late. Great service. Will definitely be back. Hard to find, located right on the water
-
We stopped in for a cold drink and a snack. We tried the STEAK BITES ~ 6 oz. grilled tender pieces of marinated steak with mushrooms served with a blue cheese sauce and garlic bread. The steak and mushrooms were delicious and the steak cooked perfectly. The garlic bread was actually toast but tasted ok. The blue cheese sauce tasted earthy and not like blue cheese at all. Fun atmosphere (tiki bar) right on the harbor. Minus 1 star for the sauce.
-
The service is the best! Our waitress was full of knowledge of the town and food. The lobster tacos were amazing! We can’t wait to come back .
-
Loved the atmosphere and all the food we had was amazing! Shrimp tacos were super delicious and very accommodating to fit our large party in.
-
Great first stop in Marco Island! The crab stack and Mahi salad are fantastic choices! Great lunch and good drinks!
-
If you want fresh seafood, good drinks and atmosphere, dolphin tiki is a must when in Marco island !!!! Staff is great and very friendly. You can't beat the prices either, much cheaper then resort / hotel dining. Can't wait to come back if I'm ever in Marco island again
-
Yes
-
Great spot for lunch! Food, views and service excellent!
-
Good food and great atmosphere!
-
The Tiki bar is a hidden gem in between all the condos and was destroyed in the hurricane but you wouldn't even know. The food is still great, I love the tuna or the crab stacks! Great drinks as well with a beautiful view of the bay. Definitely worth the hunt!
-
Went there last night. Had a party of six. We're seated right away. The waitress Doreen was extremely attentive. Drink orders came fast. Our food was delicious. I had the special of the day. Grilled scallops tocos. Delicious and filling. My wife loved the bang bang shrimp. My son loved his fish tocos. Chicken wings were nice size and good tasting. Coconut shrimp had a nice taste. Pretty view. Reasonable priced did not leave hungry
-
Best Kept secret in Marco. Great food, cold drinks and awesome atmosphere
-
Love this place. Hard to find but so worth it. Love their fish tacos. I add buffalo sauce and cole slaw and they are heaven. Their tuna stack is fantastic as are their sea scallops. Their onion fries/straws are tasty. To those who say the staff is unfriendly, many are from Eastern Europe, it's a culture thing. Treat them with dignity and you'll be surprised how they warm up.
-
This is a hidden gem on the island! Great setting and atmosphere along with delicious food. My husband and I ordered the fish tacos and the monterey chicken sandwich. Both meals were outstanding and we came back a second night while on vacation.
-
Have gone twice. Both for the 24.99 lobster dinner special. It's Wednesday night ! A must if you are near Marco island . Always cooked perfectly
Beautiful view is just an added plus. Located right on the water -
Hidden Gem. Great food, outdoor seating available. The worst thing about this place is it's difficult to find, the first time!
-
Visiting from California, spent the day at Marco Island beach; had a blast! Stopped at this place on the way back to our hotel in Miami. This place was AMAZING!!!!! Everything we ate was DELICIOUS! My mom had the Philly Cheese Steak, my fiancé had shrimp tacos, which they did not skimp on the shrimp and they were jumbo and tasted fresh not frozen! I had the Blacked Mahi-Mahi BLT! Everything, down the service was on point! Oh and we ordered the conch fritters for appetizer!!!! THOSE WERE TO DIE FOR!!!! The sauce was a perfect blend of sweet and spicy!
-
Hidden gem with excellent food!
-
Of all the beach bars around the island they have by far the best food! Try the fried Brie balls, tempura shrimp and ahi tuna!
-
Wonderful atmosphere and really good food. Was a little hard to find, though. Would definitely go again.
-
Great view, service, food and ice cold beer on a hot humid day. Very happy with our choice to have lunch here last Thursday. Will definitely be back on our next trip to Marco Island
-
Great little hidden gem. Perfect location for a laid back seafood dinner and of course cold refreshment
-
Awesome food, service and drinks! Thank you!
-
Great hidden location, plenty of sock slips for guests to ride right in off the water. We had no wait even with the place being packed. The staff was extremely friendly and had surprisingly fast service! The drinks were amazing and matched the atmosphere perfect!
-
The Dolphin Tiki Bar is the best place on Marco! We love the food & atmosphere. Brandon, Jackie & Kendra are the best & service is always so fast. The food is amazing as well. Our favorite spot in Marco that we visit frequently. The coconut shrimp is to die for.
-
This place is a hidden gem! Took us awhile to find it, but all I have to say is. I live in Michigan, and visited dophin tiki on a vaca, we didn’t go just once, but we were mulipule Times. I keep carving the food but can’t have it! Awesome food 11/10
-
Great spot, consistently great food + drink and great service! Great with kids. One of our vacation staples now!!
-
Fun place. Solid food with a great view. Loved my pina colada ?
-
One of our favorite places. Had the Boom Boom shrimp. Delicious! Going back tonight for the lobster special. Creative drinks that I like.
-
It was our first time for lunch and it was delicious, the service was amazing, Ben was our waiter! The drink menu was fabulous.
-
Outstanding food, drink and service. Beautiful location.
-
Jill our server was great. Very energetic and pleasent. We ordered a couple beers and a vodka to drink. Good prices on those.
We were there for Happy Hour.
We also ordered the crab tower (thing) and a grouper (lemon pepper) grilled sandwich. Both were GREAT.
The view of the marina also added to the ambience.
Only reason it does not get 5 Stars, the crowd is old.. Not that that is bad, I just hate bieng 43 and being the youngest patron in a place. Maybe, this is just how it is in Floridia Marco Island. I don't know.
But I would definitely go back. -
My family and I went here twice during our stay in Marco Island last week (once on the first day we arrived, the second on our last night on the island). The sign of a good place is not necessarily the job they do when things are running smoothly, but rather how the staff performs when things are hectic. During our first night, we arrived when the place was hopping and very short-staffed. In spite of this, our server Kendra did an amazing job of getting to everyone quickly and efficiently and she was incredibly friendly and upbeat throughout the whole evening. Even while juggling a lot tables (many of which had patrons who sounded pretty fussy), Kendra and the rest of the staff still took our orders quickly and got our food and drinks to us in a very reasonable amount of time. For a family that had just spent the day traveling, the quick and friendly service we received started our trip out on a high note. On our second visit, we had a table of 8 people which can certainly be a challenge to even the most seasoned servers. Once again, however, we found that the service was excellent.
As for the food, the menu items are pretty standard for a bar and grill of this nature, but they tasted great and were very-well prepared. On the first night, I had the coconut shrimp basket and on the second, I had their grouper sandwich. It's difficult to say which I liked better as I loved both dishes.
The only small downside of the place is that it is a little hard to find. It is located near a marina directly behind a condominium complex. That said, between the great service, the quality of the food and drinks, and the atmosphere, it is well-worth seeking this place out.

Our Server Jill, Greeted our Party of 4 with an Impression! Very Personable with an Exciting Dolphin Tiki Bar Energy! After Explaining the Specials, Happy Hour, and Menu to us we decided on our Meals.
Grouper was the Table Favorite with 2 Blackened Grouper Sandwiches, Blackened Grouper Tacos, and a Black & Blue Salad. The Whole Table Highly Enjoyed the Presentation and Taste of Each Dish we decided on. Mine being the Blackened Grouper Tacos with Black Beans & Tropical Rice, it was definitely one of the Most Memorable Meals in Marco! The Grouper was Ultra Fresh with Excellent Potion Sizes on all 3 Grouper Dishes. Sides are not to be understated as the Black Beans & Tropical Rice were the Perfect Accompany to the Tacos and the Grouper Sandwiches came with those Exceedingly Delicious Golden Crispy French Fries! The Black & Blue Salad was again an Incredible Meal with Quality Ingredients and a Generous Portion Size to Impress!
Our Dolphin Tiki Bar Experience was one that was Sensational in All Aspects. Atmosphere :: Views :: Service :: Superior Island Food! Highly Recommend while visiting the Beauty of Marco Island!!

Who new Tiki has also a great cheeseburger with avocado. Yum! Still had to get my fave coconut shrimp on the island. My dad loved the grouper. Love the outdoor seating/ atmosphere. Wonderful service too.
-
Right on the docks, this place is tucked away but worth the search. The Boom Boom shrimp has just a little zip and very delicious. Great drinks and prompt service.
-
This place is great for what it is. It is a tiki bar right on the water. If I stayed closer to this and didn't have kids with me I probably would go there everyday for happy hour.
We did have kids with us and we were looking for a casual place to eat by the water. It was great, there seemed to be a bunch of regulars to the area there. They were in big groups at the patio tables and gathered around the bar taking advantage of happy hour.
We sat on the patio for dinner and drinks with a great view of the marina.
We got the spicy tuna roll as an appetizer. It was sushi I would expect from a tiki bar in an apartment complex. The caesar salad was comical. It was greens with a ladle of Caesar dressing in the middle of it with a mountain of parmesan cheese on top of that. No vegetables, croutons or effort put into that one. I was over it instantly and just enjoyed the view and the beers in complimentary Koozies. I got the blackened grouper dinner with fries and coleslaw. It was average. The fries were great and the coleslaw tasted store bought. Everyone else liked there food but nobody was blown away. Again nobody seemed to care and we just enjoyed the location and atmosphere.
It probably is a good thing the food here isn't better because this place was jammed without it. It was good bar food at a rad location. Did I say you get free koozies with your bottles or canned beer. -
Great place; a hidden gem! Grouper is delicious and the blackened shrimp and scallop kabob shouldn't be missed. Best Rum Runners on the island. Believe me; we tried them all!
-
Wow. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a meal this much. I had the Mahi Mahi BLT wrap and it was delicious and filling. My wife ordered the fish tacos and I don't know I've ever had anything better than these-not just fish taco wise, I mean any food better. Incredible. The location is tough to find however a very cool spot. We had easily the best seat in the place looking out to the docks and ocean. Seared Ahi Tuna app was great and we especially loves the sauces it came with. Wish we could eat here every day. Awesome. 6/5 if I could.
-
Fun island vibe. Great food. Excellent service. Reasonable prices for Marco Island. Great happy hour, all rebuilt after Hurricane Irma. A real hidden gem.
-
Sat at the bar on a sunday afternoon. Had great, attentive service from Ben and Brandon.
Special of the day was prime rib soft tacos and they were amazing. Great cold drinks and a relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely be back! -
Easy going great place for food and drink. Really miss the nacho platter. That was a great share for a small group to start off with as an appetizer before dinner! Hope they bring it back! Otherwise food is great atmosphere is fun and BRING BACK the NACHOS!!
-
We visited with friends who live on Marco. They took us here for a great lunch in a Large Tiki overlooking the water. The food was excellent and the staff was very attentitive and friendly. Hard to find unless you know it's there but worth the effort. Marco has lots of excellent places to eat and this is one of the best.
-
Great food, great service and good drinks! Everyone in our group loved their dinners.
-
Beautiful view of the water and boats at the dock. Fun atmosphere, good food.
-
Awesome coconut shrimp and boom boom shrimp basket! The tempura shrimp was good just not as great as the coconut and boom boom. Drinks were strong. Watch out for potentially long wait but they were very accommodating. Would come back again
-
My favorite spot on the island! Great atmosphere and service. Casual dining experience.
-
Imposible to find reminds me of a lost island it's definitely a lost treasure and great tioi bar must do when in Marco island
-
Amazing food , excellent service and wonderful staff !!
-
Was best food ever. Hostess was wonderful. Scenery was awesome. Crabstack is beautiful and delicious.
-
Awesome place to refuel with some food and drinks. On the water in the marina. They have prime rib on Saturdays. They say it's 12oz, but it's at least 16oz! I'll be back next time I'm in Naples.
-
A little hard to find but keep at it. It was worth the hunt. The setting had a good vibe. It's right on the intercostal water set in a condo community. If I lived in those condos I'd be a regular.
The place had plenty of drinks and plenty of beer to choose from.
I had the blackened grouper fish tacos. Very simple so you could actually taste the mild flakey fish. It had a nice pico and cilantro aioli. I added just a touch of Cholula and it was spot on. I had the slaw for my side. It tasted like store bought and was very average at best.
My son had chicken strips and fries. Chicken strips are kid friendly and whatever. The fries were top shelf. My daughter has some california rolls which looked as you'd imagine. The fries were so good, she kept stealing his. My wife blackened shrimp BLT wrap was also good. Good ingredients.
So my take, many great things and some average. Overall, a great place for lunch and a relaxed vibe. Check it out!
-
Went for happy hour and stayed for $24.99 twin lobster tail dinner. Was going there for a few apps and drinks. Had steak bites, coconut shrimp, and scallops. The scallops were served over a seaweed salad that was awesome. The steak bites and coconut shrimp were excellent and the drinks were priced right and tasty. We were gong to get bill and go elsewhere for dinner. Until the tails showed up at the next table. Ordered the tails. Wow. The lobster was tasty and fresh. I would order this again and again.
-
Atmosphere very Florida ish!! Loved it!! Very hard to find. I was there w family, ordered coconut shrimp which were excellent!! Lobster tacos, also excellent! Service was good, little disappointed right when dinner was finished we were asked to vacate, they had another group coming in. Saw several seats outside:(. Just bummed we were were enjoying company.
-
Nice venue - beautiful view of the marina - ample parking- great service!
We started with the crab cake appetizer, which was excellent. My wife had the grouper basket (fish and chips ) - I had the philly cheese steak- both were delicious.
Prices were reasonable- atmosphere was nice - would come back!
-
My husband and I took a day trip to Marco island and Naples. Thank you yelp reviewers for your recommendations for lunch
It is a small tiki bar with some inside and outdoor seating. We sat at the side table near the bar overlooking the water. It was lovely. We had wonderful crab cakes with mango salsa. I had the grouper basket. A little greasy but fresh. My husband had the cheesesteak sandwich ( he is not a fish fan). I had a glass of house Chardonnay which was nice . the key west sunset ale was delicious too ! We found the service to be very good.
I would recommend this for lunch. Use navigation to get here. Park behind the condos. Walk to the water and go right. You will see a blue enclosed hut. That is it.
Enjoy. -
Wow what a great place
Awesome views
Great food
Service was excellent
Hidden gem for sure -
Fantastic food and service!! I had the lobster tacos which were amazing! The onion string fries are a must have as well.
-
The food is amazing, and the coconut shrimp with the special sauce is incredible! For sure going to come back the next time we visit. :)
-
Great place, great food and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly! Kudos to the Tiki Bar!!????????????
-
It's my favorite place on Marco .. boom boom chicken wings and Saturday night prime rib and the friendliest staff ...Jill is my favorite, but everyone is great .. highly recommend you to stop by and see what your missing...
-
The food and drinks were EXCELLENT! Everything tasted so fresh. The grouper basket, coconut shrimp and even the chicken quesadillas were fabulous! A little pricey for lunch but expected right on the water. We all want to go back and try other items!! One in our party said his burger tasted not fresh, like a frozen patty. But we told him that would be the last thing we would have ordered at a seafood restaurant and expect freshness!
-
Wound up here due to a flat. According to the mechanic, this is where the locals hang out. Harder to find than most, but that gives it a bit of charm. It was winter so this sort-of tiki hit type-place was encased in plastic and there was no definitive entrance. We found a connecting place and ducked in. The waitress was efficient; fast enough, didn't hang around more than was welcome and cheerful enough. The menu was a bit fancier than typical bar fare. The food was good enough, as were the drinks. Overall, if I was in the neighborhood and thirsty, I'd stop back in.
-
Worked our way thru the drink menu... can't wait to go back!
-
Good food and good staff. Will return again! Thanks
-
Loved the lobster dinner, so good. Staff was friendly, food was great! Will go again & again on Wednesday for the lobster special!
-
Love this gem next to the harbor! Great food and great service!
-
VERY good food and Great ambiance! It's a hidden gem on Marco. Fresh menu options, friendly staff and good drink selection. Did I mention the VIEW!!?Fun spot to hang out- we will return on our next trip.
-
What a great find! Top shelf food at a small and fun tiki bar. Only problem is we didn't have time on our vacation to go back again. Try it and you will be happily surprised.
-
I have been coming to Marco for many years and somehow missed this gem of a place. Great atmosphere, food and people! Get their early for Happy Hour, say what up to Bobbie the Bar Tender and be Happy.
-
You have to check it out good food and priced right.

Food was very good and service was average. The problem is that the kitchen is a ways away and they don't cover the food to keep it warm and protected. So by the time you get your food is is warm at best. The onion strings were tasty but ended up being cold when served.
-
I loved the ambiance of “old time” Marco Island the Tiki provides. The food was very good, as was the service. And, the prices are crazy low.
-
Lobster night food was great. Vacationers causing long waits for a table. Very busy.
-
Great service! Great food! Very comfortable and relaxed tiki atmosphere!
-
Great find. Lunch today included Bang-bang shrimp tacos, grouper sandwich, quesadilla and Bang-bang salad. The tacos I had were excellent, and everyone else was more than pleased. Great service from the bartender (where we sat), and atmosphere speaks for itself.
If you get a chance - GO.
-
Beautiful setting on the bay. Food is always prepared well and you get plenty of it. Fun, happy place!
-
Great Place, Nice Waite Staff, Nice People to talk too, Good Water View Too :-)
-
Excellent food! Tropical atmosphere
Love Dolphin Tiki -
I ordered Calamari and very few places I have ordered it know how to NOT over cook it. It was delicious. Oh and their Mudslides are yummy too. ??
-
We have been on the island for 6 days and have ate here 3 times. Great food, service and drinks keeps us coming back. The crab stack is our favorite.
-
Excellent fish tacos along with a very good happy hour. Service was great along with a nice view of the river and gulf.

When in Florida, a visit to a Tiki bar is a must and,
of course we trusted Yelp to steer us to the perfect lunch spot. The Dolphin Tiki Bar & Grill fit the bill. Situated in the hard to find location behind condos on a dock, this quaint restaurant offers good service, delicious food and views that are calming, humorous and downright unbeatable.First, let me help you out by telling you how to get here. Go to the Rose Marina. Google Maps will take
you there far easier than hunting for the Dolphin Tiki Bar. Once you get to Rose Marina, park your car. As you are facing the building, turn right and walk down to the water. Once you get to the water,
turn right and walk down the waterside walkway to the Tiki Bar.Now that you know how to get there, let's talk about the food and drink. The sushi is pretty good. We tried the spicy tuna roll and it was fresh,
came out quickly and was accompanied by a pile of seaweed salad and ginger. Next we ordered the steak bites. They were amazing! Big, tender chunks of delicate, melt in your mouth beef smothered nestled in bed with mushrooms and a lovely sauce. Garlic bread was on the side, but the pice de rsistance was the blue cheese dunking sauce. I licked the bowl clean! So, if you're in the mood for a Tiki Bar that delivers on all fronts, trust that finding this little hidden gem is worth the hunt.
-
Had a great late lunch on the patio Sunday! We had the Boom Boom shrimp appetizer which was excellent! My husband had the chicken Caesar wrap and I had the grilled seafood platter. Both were great, served hot and fast! Nice portions! Beautiful view too! Will definitely come back soon!
-
My wife and I were here yesterday for lunch. I had the crabcake sand. It was great. My wife had the prime rib sand. It was great.. get there early,it filled up quickly. We met Rick and sue the owners. They are hands on. They will do well. Will be back soon.
-
I had the Philly steak sub. It was the best.I like my food served hot and this was perfect. The weather had gotten cold by evening. Great place! Great people! Don't miss out on a visit here. You won't be disappointed!
-
Great waitress on New years eve! Our service, drinks & food were pure perfection, & the oceanside view made our experience a five star event!
-
Great food, service, atmosphere and view.
-

Capt Gary -
This place is just behind our stay at anglers cove in the northern end of Marco. It is sooooo good! They have some high end food that is delicious! The tuna tower and crab stack were Luv it! And the kitchen stayed open for us after getting into town late!
-
Just go there. For the atmosphere and a few cold ones. Great view. Can't go wrong.
-
Was last call before I got their and , served me. Great atmosphere and crew
-
Our favorite place on the island! Food was amazing & the service was great! We will. E back & we will tell all our friends about this place!!
-
Excellent service and good food. Definitely coming again.
-
Food was delicious, my Margarita wasn't good at all.
-
Fun, relaxed, watching pelicans fish... with good lunch time food too! Tuna tower was yum on a boiling hot afternoon, hubby's prime rib roll was huge and tasty..
-
We LOVE the tiki bar .. it's like cheers.. and where everyone knows your name.. foods is fabulous and the staff there amazing!!!!!
-
Excellent atmosphere! Excellent food! Hope to return back after a hopeful rebuild after Hurricane Irma!
-
Love this place..Food is great..Location is beautiful and relaxing
-
Fun place. Destroyed with Irma. Hope they will rebuild.
-
For lunch I decided to bring my family to a TIKI BAR..
They were excited! My kids are in town from college
& we love coming to Marco Island while they are on break.
There was a little journey finding the place, (just behind the building)
That was fun and interesting haha, anyway! THE VIEW :)
What a treat to sit on the water, feel the ocean breeze, tropical surroundings, my espn playing on tv to catch up, and the staff were friendly! knew a lot about the area & spots to enjoy over the weekend. The name of the place is actually spot on! We were able to see 2 dolphins feeding and playing in the area.
We treated ourselves to some frozen drinks and sampled about 15 items on the menu
we just couldn't stop ourselves! Keep it up! Sending friends and family your way... -
What a find! Thanks to the other reviewer, we had the fried brie appetizer... OMG. Unique, scrumptious and rich! It would make a great shareable dessert too. The boom-boom shrimp were luscious and accompanied by outstanding twice-fried French fries. The atmosphere was very relaxed, outdoors by the Angler's Cove marina. Sports on the TV and a great staff made this one of the unexpected highlights of our trip.
-
The ONLY reason I give this a 4 is because it's difficult to find. Once you get there on first glance you will not have a clue what you are in for. Friendly staff, fast service and remarkable food. Portions are very large and sooo reasonably priced. Put it into your GPS and find your way there! You will not be sorry.
-
Food was delicious and a nice atmosphere. Plenty on the menu for everyone. Loved the fresh grouper sandwich and the mahi tacos. Lots of drink choices as well. Just expect a little hot and no fans.
-
Loved it! We are a modern family of four! 32 year old female professional and 40 year old male small business owner with 2 kids ages 9,11.. food was superb! View was amazing ! Thank you for providing this amazing place !
-
We love coming here. The atmosphere is great. The food and drinks are very good. It has a real island feel. Highly recommended.
-
Great food and service a place where the locals hang out. It is priced right and excellent fish sandwich.
-
Our favorite spot for a drink and good conversation! Love the girls at the bar. Stacy, Cindy, Pam and Sandy!! Great peel and eat shrimp with my Key Lime Pie martini!!
-
Great food, terrific service and off the beaten path. Would definitely go back!
-
Hard to find but a lot of people do find this Gem. Good food and service all with a great view. This is the first place we go when we get to Marco Island. The Hog Wings are fantastic
-
First, I would like to say the place isn't the easiest to find, the signs are small. However, the place is a little gem. We have been coming to Marco Island for 9 years now and this was our first time to the Dolphin. We arrived around 6pm and only had to wait at the bar for about 5 min before we were seated. The menu is the same for lunch and dinner and the prices were pretty good. I think everything on the menu is less than $20. The drinks were cold and the food was wonderful. I had the grouper special and my wife had the group sandwich. We have been to several other places on the island over the last 9 years and this was the best grouper we have had. The atmosphere is laid back. There are people dressed up and people dressed in tank tops and swim suits. Its a fun little place on the water. We went back a couple of days later for lunch and I had the spinach salad and it was very good. The portions are pretty good considering the price. Will go back the next time we are down.
-
WOW this place is hard to find. Its a little tiki bar behind the anglers condos. There is no sign you just walk through the condos and there it is on the dock. Definitely a local hangout but good burgers, chicken sandwich and fish tacos. Prices were reasonable with 4 drinks, 4 meals and 2 apps 70. only downer is smoking is allowed but it is open air so it didnt bother us.
-
if your looking for something off the beaten path this is it. a little hard to find but it was worth the effort. lunch was busy so we had to wait awhile. it's a tiki bar not a restaurant. portions were huge. very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere
-
It took us two tries to find this place, but WOW were we glad we did. It is hard to find good food on Marco, IMHO, but this place was really good. We have been here a week and have been to the usual places and I was not impressed. Our party of four, who all like different things, all agreed this was the best meal we have had on this trip. We started with the fried brie and stuffed mushrooms for appetizers. I love brie but the rest of our party was not so sure. Everyone loved it. The mushrooms were really good, I think, even though the guys ate them so fast all I got was a taste of the cheesy delicious filling. The men had the prime rib and the ladies had the piccata grouper, all of which were on special. The grouper was the first fish I have had on this trip that wasn't paper thin and over cooked. The prime rib impressed the midwestern beef lovers which is not easy to do. All in all, the food and atmosphere was great - what could be better than a waterside tiki bar setting with big plasma TVs? The service was good enough; we were greeted promptly and guided in a very friendly manner on where to sit and get a drink during the very short wait for a table. During dinner our water glasses went empty and we might have ordered another drink, but that is minor compared to the great food and surroundings. Our only regret is that we did not find this place sooner. Look for the Anglers Cove condos, drive past the buildings and take a right. Go to the end of the parking lot and you will see the docks and a tiny sign for Dolphin Tiki Bar. They aren't allowed any more signs, so be persistent and don't give up til you find it!
-
This place is great. It is tricky to find, it's in the middle of a condo development by the water. Staff was very friendly. Food was very fresh and prepared well.
-
We "stumbled" on this place after we were unable to get into the Snook Inn which is located down the road. SO GLAD WE DID. The signs are small, but it is right off of Bald Eagle. The wait to be seated was a bit long (which is expected during spring break), but totally worth it. The food is fantastic and servers are outstanding. It was by far the best piece of Grouper I had while on Marco. My husband and son had a fabulous burger and my daughters enjoyed chicken and salad. Everything was awesome, including dessert. The prices were great too! Definitely try it!
-
Hidden tiki bar on the harbor. Very dive-y, very cool. Park at the Angles Condominiums and go towards the back of the property where the harbor is at and you'll see the small bar out there. It feels like the Cheers version of Naples - where everybody knows everybody else. Super cheap and good appetizers. We loved passing an afternoon at a table watching the Pelicans fly by and the boats go in and out. Definitely check it out if you're looking for a very casual Marco experience.
-
Great meals tonight at the Dolphin Tiki Bar!! My friend and I had the crab cake dinner and both of us thought they were some of the best crab cakes we had ever eaten. They were moist and packed with lump crab and very little filler. One friend had the prime rib and proclaimed it excellent. Our fourth person ordered the coconut shrimp, and ate them all!! Don't waste a fancy outfit at the Tiki, however! It's a VERY casual bar on a marina! Highly recommended!
-
Great place! Laid back, great prices (especially for Marco), tasty food, and STRONG drinks.
-
Great food! Fresh seafood, best food we had in Marco. My girlfriend and I are in our 30's visiting my patents, we are very picky eaters and if you want a decent meal come here! Little hard to find but worth it!
-
A true Tiki Bar on the water
great view and service is friendly
looks like lots of locals come here
we grabbed a few beers and had some fish sandwiches
great place to chill definitely -
A fun and comfortable place right on the water. Lots of friendly locals. Try the blackened grouper sandwich. One of the best on the island. Very friendly staff. Coconut shrimp, grouper francaise and their crab cakes are all excellent. As others have said, it is a bit challenging to find. Park in any non reserved parking spot in the condo complex and head toward the water. You won't be disappointed. The entire place was remodeled over the last year. One of our favorites as Marco residents.
-
Recently visited Marco and had two great experiences at Dolphin Tiki. Really cool how this is such a hidden gem. Took the kids for lunch and the portions were great and the food was better! Kids chicken fingers are hand breaded and very good. Kids grilled cheese is on real bread and cooked perfectly. Wings were good as well. Sauce could have been hotter but were still good. Next visit sans kids to check out the night scene. Drinks were good and staff was friendly and attentive. Jim and Kim are great! I tried the Conch fritters as an appetizer. More conch than batter! Moist and cooked perfectly. Got the chicken fingers again with fries because they were so good. I highly recommend a visit to the Dolphin Tiki on Marco Island...ask a local because it's not easy to find but well worth the search!
-
Nice spot right on the water. We had them make our catch of the day a Pompano and it was great. We also had the crab appetizer that was very good. Great atmosphere and location.
-
Visited here twice during our stay on MI. The food was very good. I had seafood dinners each time and needed them cooked to my dietary needs, which they did. My wife loved their Margarita's, and she is opinionated about these. The 1st night we had a woman waitress and she wasn't very attentive and didn't even say thank you. I left the restaurant with a negative feeling about the place. Because the food was real good, we tried again and got Bobby. He was great! The 2nd experience renewed my feeling about this place.
-
Great hidden gem. Cute little place with a good view. Good place to grab drinks. Basic bar food plus some fish options. Several TVs to watch sports.
-
Great location and ice cold beer. They even provided the first happy hour beer in a can-coozie that was ours to keep; nice touch.
Service was good and friendly. Our initial order of fried calamari was over cooked but the wait staff was very positive and responsive to have it re-done and the calamari were perfect the second time.
Anyone can make a mistake when it is busy but good places define themselves in how the respond and recover to please their guests. The Dolphin was perfect in their response and recovery, well done!
We will be sure to go back for Happy Hour!
The Dolphin sign on Bald Eagle Dr is hard to see. The sign is too small and appears as part of the apartment complex but the Dolphin is worth looking for and is behind the apartment complex just past N Barfield Dr on Bald Eagle Dr heading away from N Collier Blvd.
-
The best tiki bar on island and with excellent food to boot. Try the conch fritters. Really a find!
-
Went here for the first time with my cousin. A great atmosphere on the bay. Not too noisy and excellent service. We all had grouper, each prepared a different way, but all enjoyed our meal. I would recommend.
-
One of our favorite lunch places. Can't beat the waterfront view and ambiance.
The Pro's: Good quality food, friendly service, fair prices (for Marco and given high food quality), perfect spot to watch sports or just hang out in a waterfront setting
The Con's: Too many smokers... this isn't the restaurant's fault but we have to complain to someone! Quit billowing your smoke into my meal you presumptuous jerks!
-
A little hard to find. The Fried Brie is DELICOUS! I also had the Blackened Mahi Tacos. So good! Service is by far the best I've had in a long time. The staff is super friendly and hospitable. I would definitely come back :)
-
Great hidden tiki bar/restaurant. Good food friendly staff. Definately worth stopping by.
-
Came here to watch the Bears game. Had 4 adults and 5 kids, 2 of which were 15 years old. The hostess, Laura, had one of the worst attitudes. For a place that is supposed to be customer friendly, she took it upon herself to make the night very unpleasant. Comments were being made about her all night from other patrons. Will choose sandbar, sunset grill or Joeys before coming back. It is unfortunate because we are down here half of the fiscal year and like to be loyal to places.
-
My wife and I stopped here for a drink while exploring the island. We heard there was a view of the bay and wanted to see what it was like. Immediately we decided we liked the location. It is a little hard to find, but as another reviewer said, just walk toward the docks and you will see it.
We had the jalapeno poppers with our beer and they were very tasty. We watched pelicans come and go and some boaters on their way out to sea as well. Good atmosphere and great prices for the neighborhood. Try it out!
-
As a Naples local, I don't get out to Marco Island much, but this tiny place is a hidden gem! I happily give it 4 stars because of location and service. A gal friend and I went here by boat as they conveniently have 2 slips right in front for easy docking. As we moseyed into this adorable tiki bar, we were greeted by the kind face of Gayle and then made our way to the bar. We drank two of the coldest coronas ever ( the salt rimmed glass was limey too yuumm) and shared a huge chicken taco salad, which was stellar. The handsome and charming bartender, Gustavo, gave us top notch service. We will definitely be back !
-
Cutest little place on the water! The decor is super cute and comfortable/relaxed environment. Of course I wouldn't come here for silly appetizers like nachos and a hot dog like other yelpers ordered. But instead ordered the conch fritters and shrimp tacos! Shrimp tacos had a great sauce and light slaw! More signs needed to direct you to the back of the parking lot but loved this place and would make another 40 min drive from the Naples summer house to Marco island and stop here again!
-
We found this hidden gem while looking for a good place to eat. The manager and bartender were very friendly. We got the shrimp wrapped in bacon and fish tacos which were excellent. We went back a second time for the lobster dinner. It was a great value. We will definitely visit next time were in Marco Island.
-
Fantastic service, great location, and the food is tasty. This is our favorite hidden gem on the island!
-
For a tiki bar, this place is awesome. Their food is much better than other similar places (ie: Pelican Bend). Our server was excellent and friendly.
I ordered the shrimp and scallop kabob and I had a ton of food that was fresh.
This place gets 4 stars for a tiki bar/lunch place. It is definitely not a fancy, upscale dining experience.
-
If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Caren was amazing. We loved everything about it. The food and drinks are amazing. Stayed here for 10 days and came to the dolphin tiki 3 out of those 10 days. Come here if you are looking for the whole package.
-
Agree with other reviews that it was a little hard to find. For those still trying to find it - turn just before Rose Marina in what looks to be condos and go all the way to the docks. Walk right on the docks and you are there.
Food was best restaurant we have tried on Marco perhaps because we primarily ate the two specials - Grouper Piccata and Seared Scallops. View of the bay was fab and even though it poured rain we stayed dry. Atmosphere was all you could ask for on. FL beach.
-
Had a delicious lunch with our friends served to us by Gustavo, excellent waiter. The crab tower with shrmp and fresh crab meat was excellent. The presentation was 5 star and the combination of flavors were fantastic. At first reluctant to try the seaweed, but what a delicious flavor it added to the combination!
Salads were all fresh and generous portions. A nice surprise right on the water. A must try when visiting Marco!! -
Having lunch on the water, the view is amazing! I had the fish tacos, with the blackened mahi mahi. It is a spicy mix of fish, crispy fresh coleslaw, mild peppers and a spicy baja sauce. They were accompanied by black beans with feta, that was almost like refried in taste and the cheese was a pleasant surprise. My wife had a very decent hot dog, and the kids had chicken strips, that she said was one of the best they ever had! All in all a great meal, the bathrooms were difficult to get to, and I can see how this place can get crazy during the busy season, but worth a stop by if possible.
-
Nice little place. Seems like a local place but we felt very welcomed by the other customers and bartender. Good drink, great view and a mound of chicken nachos. Exactly what we were looking for in the moment.
I guess sometimes they have a guitar player. That night they did not. It was nice and quiet. -
Nice place. Average bar style food. Good atmosphere and good prices and drinks. It is worth your time. Enjoy the view.
-
Tremendous visit!! Arrived at happy hour stayed for dinner. Jacki waited on us and was more than helpful and attentive. Great meals and atmosphere!! Will come again.
-
Great location on the water (we found it with no problem b/c we can see it from the condo we rented for the week at Angler's Cove). The place is almost completely shaded, which is nice for us fare-skinned northern folks. Service was super friendly and the food was wonderful (and surprisingly, delivered quickly).
My wife got the Tuna Salad Sandwich, which was very light and healthy tasting. We shared the Fried Brie and it was wonderful (don't worry about how it looks - go for it... creamy goodness). I had an appetizer for dinner and was blown away - the chicken jerk (or maybe it was called "Jamaican jerk"). Amazing.
I also had a Mai Tai and being the Mai Tai connoisseur that I am, I give it one thumb up. Good stuff.. My poor preggo wife couldn't drink, so I might have to come back here this week before we leave to have another drink.
-
Get the new crab stack! Delicious and super fresh. Ask the awesome bartender Jill for shot recommendations. We did the baby Guinness. It was adorable and delicious.
Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Think Cheers on the water. Can't wait to get back! -
We always enjoy having lunch here. Servers are nice & friendly. Food is always consistently delicious. The fried shrimp were delicious & conch fritters are huge.
-
Awesome spot, a little hard to find at first but throw it in your gps and you're golden, laid back relaxed environment perfect for after the beach for happy hour, servers are friendly and the food is above what I thought it would be for a little Tiki bar on the water
-
I look forward to eating here every year on our annual Marco island trip. The food and atmosphere always makes for a fun and memorable evening. Service is always good and food is always great!
-
Great hidden gem (literally hidden hard to find) in Marco. This is an open air tiki bar that serves great food and drinks. Had the peel and eat shrimp and spicy tuna roll. Both were excellent. The spicy tuna was outstanding and I liked that they used sriracha sauce on top to kick it up instead of the traditional spicy mayo. Friendly staff.
-
We were in the Dolphine Tiki twice today and our service was attentive and efficient on each occasion. Tim our waiter really took great care. I am from out of town (TEXAS) down here for a visit staying in a local condo. One can tell this is a local favorite. If you wish to experience polite folks and some great local eats you will not be disappointed. They have a very ablanced offering that should meet most expectations. Visiting at peak hours they did not lack on service.
We are looking forward to the start of breakfast Sunday morning. Great little hide away...
-
As out of towners we decided to try this place. We sat at the bar and had a view to the marina right before it went dark. Bob the bartender was really nice and welcoming.
We ordered the Coconut shrimp and the Crab Stack. They were both really good. They also have a Wednesday $22 whole lobster, it looked fantastic.
We wore looking for something casual and where all the locals gathered and we found it! Small place but a great find. We had a great time and sure hope to come back soon. Great ambiance, happy people and overall great! -
Absolutely love the Dolphin Tiki Bar! My boyfriend and I stayed at Anglers Cover two summers ago and ended up eating most of our meals at the Dolphin Tiki Bar! We loved the food, drinks, and atmosphere. Their Bloody Mary's and frozen cherry lemonade vodka drinks were our go to! This past summer we booked another trip to Anglers Cove in Marco Island and couldn't wait to go back to the Dolphin Tiki Bar, until we found out their were closed for remodeling..which was extremely dissapointing. We were heartbroken!!! We just loved the low key atmosphere and the wait staff and bartenders were great as well.. Hopefully we can get another trip booked soon so we can go to the Dolphin Tiki Bar! A couple suggestions on the menu were the quesadillas, the mexican chicken dip, and the grouper sandwich! They have a great happy hour as well!
-
Excellent place, fabulous view, friendliest staff, delicious rum drinks and all the food we tried was amazing!!!! We were here a few days and had Steak bites, blackened scallops, grouper basket, Monterey chicken sandwich, fries, seared ahi tuna, and conch fritters. Absolutely delicious!!!! Would highly recommend stopping if your on the island.
-
A must eat on Marco! One of the best, low-key places on the Island. The service is always great and the frozen drinks are always tasty. Great seafood at a reasonable price.
-
Came early so we had no problems being seated the food and service was wonderful I would come again. We had the lobster dinner messy but very good. Our server was Bradon excellent
-
Perfect for what it is - a local place with casual food an atmosphere. It is a trick to find it at the back of the condo complex, but don't despair - it's there! It's a fun spot on the water. And we were quite happy with the food quality with warm service. The shrimp tacos were delicious. My daughter loved her pulled pork sandwich. The drinks were fine. It's not expensive and if you'd like a place with local color, I'd recommend it.
-
A true hidden gem. A casual tiki bar feel with quality food and a gorgeous view of the harbor. The menu offered the perfect combo of bar food & seafood specialties. Everything was fresh and delicious. Our waitress, Jackie, was extremely friendly and accommodating to our party of eight. Highly recommend.
-
Super delicious! People are right about the fried brie bites: they really are special. Totally worth the search. Just go to the back of the apartment complex, turn right at the giant wall, park near the dock, and follow the sign to the little tiki bar. Key lime pie is delicious too. What a great find!
-
Never had a bad experience at this incredibly difficult to find but well worth it dive! The grouper finger platter is always a huge serving of the island's signature fish. I recommend getting it with the onion straws. Order the fried brie for dessert, not an appetizer, as it's very sweet but fantastic! Beautiful view if you have the chance to eat on the patio!
-
Hidden gem! This place is a bit off the map, hidden behind a resort, but next to the bay. The food and service here was amazing. I had the recommended Shrimp BLT wrap, it was delicious. The coconut shrimp was delicious, as was the banana daiquiri and grasshopper! If your looking for a quick and delicious meal, this place is a go!
-
Just outstanding. Great drinks, great atmosphere, great service! Hidden gem that we love!
-
Their Brie bites were QUITE good and not something I'd expect at a tiki bar. Fish tacos were winners as well. This is a great little tiki bar with friendly service and not your standard bar fare, as it's a few steps above the usual. Pina coladas and margaritas are far better than most in the area. They don't seem to advertise this place I noticed...because they don't need to. Plus, they have a very steady stream of regulars, which I'm sure they prefer over tourists. They have happy hour from 3-6 where you get 30% off all drinks...however, when our bill came, it showed only 20% off. When we brought this to the attention of our very pleasant server, she spoke with the head bartender(?) and was informed that the system was not updated to reflect the 30%. This was not the end of the world, but then we were obviously waiting to hear what their Plan B would be to make this right...it was crickets. So we HAD TO ask, "Caaaaaan you please fix this for us??" Server: "Oh, you want me to change the number still?" Duh. Obviously a few extra bucks didn't crush our fun, but it was a pretty annoying turn of events. Also, I'm kind of surprised that we were the only ones to notice this.
Summary: Go Here. Get the Brie Bites. Check the Math.
-
We were lured to this place through the yelp app and we're delighted with our experience. You have to go look for this place. It is hidden away with no signs to direct you but I maps does a good job of getting you close.
We had the grouper sandwich, crab tower and a couple of beverages. All met or exceeded our expectations. And... There were Dolphins that kept swimming into and out of the cove! -
Great (casual) atmosphere, amazing views and the food was outstanding! Recommend the blackened Mahi Mahi wrap and the lump crab stack! If your in Marco Island then this is a must!
-
Hard to find but worth the search. Very casual waterside bar with good food. I had the fried grouper basket and it was the best batter I've tasted. Good service. Great place to unwind and enjoy the fresh air.
-
Great food, excellent service and wonderful atmosphere! Definitely will be on our return list!
-
The turn onto Anglers Cove is hard to see at night. Then, you park and the restaurant is hidden from view. It's about a thirty yard walk past boats in the marina and has lighting that will guide you the rest of the way. The food is worth the journey. Even the side of vegetable medley was delicious. The scallops were swimming in a sauce that enhanced the dish. This is a solid 4 stars.
-
Casual, small place on the water behind Rose Marina. Great place to bring your freshly caught fillets for the fisherman's meal. Try your fish blackened.
-
Amazing menu, food, location and - I especially enjoyed the cocktails looking over the Marco Island sound!!!
-
great little spot by the water, food is pricey but very good. We like the nachos and boom boom shrimp sushi!
A lot of locals come here! Great place to meet people!! -
Had an excellent lunch on an overcast day in Marco. Large group of 10 they were quick to set up tables and create the perfect atmosphere. We ordered several appetizers which were all great. The bang bang shrimp sushi was excellent as was the crab cakes and seared ahi tuna. Kim the waitress was great and attentive to our needs. The blackened grouper sandwich good for lunch as were the steak tacos and steak bites. If you are looking for a laid back atmosphere with excellent food this is the place! Don't be fooled by the first glance of the tiki hut.. it was great. We come back again for sure!!
-
Great little place on the water. Tricky to find, but well worth it. Great atmosphere. Biggest grouper sandwich I've had. Crab stack was also really good.
-
This place was amazing! $25 for a lobster dinner? You can't go wrong! We had an amazing dinner. There was a bit of a wait and they only take reservations for parties over 8. The wait was so worth it and you can enjoy a drink while watching the boats on the water. This was a nice gem we found on our trip this time around and have decided to go back next time we are in town. The lobster was made perfectly. We also tried the boom boom shrimp and they were pretty good. Overall we were very happy dinning here as a casual dinner and cannot wait to go back!
-
Our favorite local spot!! 1st stop once we cross the bridge! Packed house! Great bar service! Love it here!
-
Service- wait staff was friendly enough, nothing special though.
Food & drinks- were all good.
Atmosphere- great views, relaxing atmosphere. The only downside is it's difficult to find. If you didn't know it was there, you'd miss it.

When staying @ Anglers Cove we come here often, sometimes just for drinks and others foe either lunch or dinner. Casual atmosphere, fun staff (Jill, Gail, & Jimmy are great), good food. The Conch fritters and Boom boom shrimp are great, they are a bit spicy but we love spicy. We have also had some really awesome shrimp &/or fish tacos. Love to come for the Wednesday dinner special of 1 1/2 lb Lobster dinner.
Highly recommend, but be aware they are quite popular especially during "Season", so plan accordingly. -
A small shack on a pier turns out to be another Marco Island gem. The chicken Caesar salad with garlic toast was great. The service was great and the place was busy with good views. When looking for a cheap meal consider this place.

This place is, as described in other reviews, somewhat difficult to find. Other Yelpers have included directions that made it very easy to find, and I am glad I did because this place was terrific!
My wife and I arrived in time for happy hour, where drinks are 30% off. Even without happy hour, drinks are fairly priced at $3.50 domestic/$4.50 imported for beer and around $6-$9 for cocktails.
The food was the real pleasant surprise, as everything was delicious. The fish tacos were some of the best I've had, and my wife loved the grouper platter. Also, the onion straws are great! I subbed them in for french fries after seeing others' food come out. I am glad I did!
The views and atmosphere are great here as well. Take the time to find this place - you'll be glad you did!

Awesome crab cakes ! Weak drinks order a double if you want anything more than just tonic water .

This place is a hidden gem! Really though, it's a bit difficult to find because it's located behind condos, but just keep walking toward the water and you'll find it.
The view is gorgeous. Right on the water! They even have docking if you want to pull up on the boat and grab a quick bite or cocktail.
The atmosphere is laid back - good music, mixed age crowd, lots of fans, and friendly service. We were here during the day, but I imagine there is a similar vibe at night.
I had the Tuna stack and it was terrific! I literally licked the plate - no shame. My husband had the shrimp version and was equally satisfied.
The overall feel had me craving a pia colada, which hit the spot and was surprisingly heavy on the booze.
Overall, great first impression! We will be back again, next time with the boat and some friends.

Found the Dolphin Tiki on Yelp. It's tricky to find but DO find it! It's tucked behind the Angler Cove condo community. When we arrived, we were met by Karen and Bill, the sassy bartenders, who welcomed us. I asked for a special drink not on the menu. Karen made it and even said it was going to be a special for the day.
We ordered the Crab Stack. Don't be fooled by the unassuming look of this place. It was ultra gourmet and delicious! In fact, it was better than you might find at a much more expensive restaurant. At $14.00, it was abundant with lump crab and large shrimp.
Give this place a try. You will be happy you did!

The food, atmosphere and service were all excellent. Absolutely recommend! Oh, and they don't skimp on the mixed drinks!

Life is good
Sitting under a tiki roof looking out over the water as a storm approached, a cool breeze refreshing after a hot afternoon, drink in hand. This is living.
For my early dinner I went with their Boom Boom Shrimp Basket. While it didn't technically come in a basket it was great. There were 7 large shrimp with a slightly spicy sauce. The grouper basket my wife ordered also had a generous amount of fish.
Lucky for us the rains held off and we finished our meal and got back to our car without getting wet. We had used Google maps to find our way. It seemed like we were parking at an apartment or condo complex, we walked down along the water, and spotted the tiki hut. I never did see any signage.

I loved this place. This Tiki Bar is very hidden. I have to admit that there was a time I did not trust my phone when I saw the directions. This place is right on the water. Great atmosphere. The food was wonderful. I loved my crab cake and Fried Brie. It was very tasty. I was very surprised when I read some of the reviews here on Yelp that the service was not friendly. Our waitress was very friendly and stopped at our desk several times.

After being disappointed with most bars and restaurants on the island, my girlfriend and I went a bit off the beaten path (read: 15 minute walk) to find the Dolphin Tiki Bar. While we didn't order any food - everyone else's dishes looked and smelled great.
They had a few Cigar City beers (in can) that were a nice nod to some of the local craft scene, which are otherwise hard to come by in the area. The beer prices are great at under $4 for any type of beer. Cocktails hover in the $7-10 range and are far from weak!
Dolphin had fun, hospitable bar tenders and with its half-covered half-open setup that sits right on the water, the tiki theme seemed complete.

Really cute Tiki Bar. It was a little hard to find since its located in the back of the condos to the right. We sat outside under the trees. Super quite and relaxing during the day with a beautiful view. Highly recommend the blacken Mahi Mahi sandwich. It had thick pieces of Mahi, seasoned perfectly and tasted fresh. Also, the steak Philly with onion strings, which were super crispy and flaky! The only negative thing I would say is for a "tiki" bar they didn't have much of a selection for Rums, just the typical Bacardi. Overall super happy we found this little gem.

I love a good Tiki Bar! Based on the reviews, we decided that the Dolphin Tiki Bar would be a great spot to finish our weekend trip to Marco. As the reviews say, this restaurant is a little hard to find (tucked behind anglers cove), but once you figure it out it is so worth it!
First of all, it hits all the check marks you want for a casual beach meal. Waterfront view, large Tiki hut, friendly and speedy service and last but not least - Happy Hour every day with drinks 30% off!
The menu is what you would expect from a beachfront eatery- fish tacos, fish sandwiches, fried seafood baskets - but it also has some unexpected surprises. My sister and I were feeling overindulgent from our weekend eating choices so we ordered on the lighter side and went 50/50 on the jumbo lump crab stack and seared ahi tuna.
Other orders included grouper sandwich and fish tacos.
Everything came out very quickly. The crab stack was beautifully presented and extremely fresh. So was the ahi tuna. My family's food looked great too. I had a chance to steal a few bites of onion rings and they were thin and crispy- yum!
The meal was great, the drinks were good and the pricing was on point for the large portions!
We ended up running into one of the employees from the Hilton (where we stayed) who asked us "How did you find this place?!" SCORE! Thank you, Yelp, for helping us find a place that visitors and locals love!

Come for the drinks and view, stay for the food!
You get the whole package here! It's right on a dock, pretty hard to find because it's behind a residential building. But trust me, it is a Beautiful view with delicious food. We even caught a dolphin surfacing not far from the deck!I shared a chicken philly that was cheesy and seasoned to perfection! The curly fries are the bomb.
My family had a steak philly and chicken wrap with onion rings and they were extremely pleased, as I was!
We had a few different cocktails and they were all super yummy and tropical.
This place has an adorable large covered tiki bar area you can sit at, or more on the outside to see the water better shaded with palm trees We sat out by the water.
I'm super jealous for whoever lives in the condos where it's at because I'd be out here every day!!
Parking is out by the condo building and they have a bathroom a short walk away attached to the condos that they have permission to use.
Can't wait to return!!

Very scenic outdoor dining area tucked between a pretty bay and a tennis court. Good food and service.
-
Great spot on the water for drinks! Staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is great! Definitely a spot to go to!
-
It's kind of tucked away off the main strip, which gives? it a more local feel without being divey. Outdoor bar on the marina is unique.

Best hidden gem in Marco. Food is excellent, service is phenomenal, and the view is great. Especially love the Koozies you get with your beer!
